Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 9:40 p.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Illinois. The requester, Nathan Manalastas, submitted the following information: “Ford excursion 4×4 stuck in mud tried to go back and ended up stuck n 37.610336
w89.297420 / I’m with the vehicle.“
The request was organized by David Mrak; he contacted Nathan to verify his contact information, GPS location, and current situation. Once everyone checked out, he submitted the request to local volunteers.
The local volunteers contacted us, and Mark Warden took over the recovery in the morning. By mid-morning, he had closed the request. We don’t have much more information. We requested photos and notes but have not received anything yet.
