Half off a hill

Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at 8:21 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Michael Anthony Rodriguez, submitted the following information: “I wss trying to turn around and I am half off a hill / I’m with the vehicle”

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 20-mile radius.

From the group of volunteers we contacted, locals who belonged to the local groups we collaborated with immediately sprang into action and took care of this man once again. Note: Over the past few months, Michael has been repeatedly caught in various predicaments.

We want to express our gratitude to the local volunteers who consistently assist others in need, as exemplified in this particular case.
