Saturday, November 25th, 2023, at 11:44 a.m., we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Florida. The requester, David Berneski, submitted the following information: “Toyota Tacoma 4×2, truck bottomed out in deep water and mud. The area goes from soft to thick mud quick. No recovery items or DRings / I’m with the vehicle“.
Brandon Brooks, our East Coast main administrator for Offroad Portal, handled the request. Once the information was verified, he submitted the request to local volunteers. The requester also asked for help from a local group on Facebook. From this group, a volunteer attended the recovery by 1 p.m. before our volunteers arrived.
We still want to thank the volunteers who helped with this offroad recovery in Florida from Facebook and also all local volunteers who responded and were getting ready to help.
