I’m stuck in just a little bit of mud

Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at 7:37 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Patrick Johnson, submitted the following information: “I’m stuck in just a little bit of mud not bad an easy winch or tow strap job. Ground is hard just behind car 5 feet. / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 40-mile radius.

Jerry Spence and Clint Cronic stepped in to take charge of the recovery. We didn’t get much info after the request was done, but Jerry and Clint worked together and got Patrick out of trouble before noon. We’re closing the request now.
