Thursday, June 15th, 2023, at midnight, a request for help with an offroad recovery was received in our system from Utah. Our administrator for the area, Rick Copper, handled the request. Rick verified the information and contacted Greg Austin, the requester.
The information provided by the requester read: “Back road just past 11800 N 8100 W Clarkson Utah. 5th Dodge 2500 with a Gooseneck trailer. Dirt road, the trailer slid off. / I’m with the vehicle.“
From the volunteers contacted, Brett Davis, another admin of our system for Utah, started to look for other local volunteers. Brett also organizes a large local group of recovery people in Utah: Utah Off Road Recovery Team
From this group, a few guys led by Todd Nebeker met Greg and, a few minutes later, got him out of trouble.
