Bottomed out in a water hole

Saturday, April, 22nd, 2023 at 3:58 p.m. (EST) we received a request for an offroad recovery in Alabama submitted by Duy Le. A few minutes after receiving the request he canceled, stating he had help coming. But 30 minutes later contacted us again, his help was not 4×4, and didn’t get enough traction to help him. So we prepared the request checked the GPS coordinates and got some photos before submitting it to local volunteers.

We don’t have many volunteers in the area, but a few minutes after submitting we got a few engaging and ready to help. Right when some of our volunteers were leaving to help, Duy canceled the request again, stating his son-in-law was on his way to help.

Requesters note:My son-in-law is coming guys. Thanks for the help. I’m new to the trail scene and I’m so happy the community is willing to help.

We closed the request and thought that was the end of it. But later we found out Barry Hagan a local volunteer who was already en route actually made it there and took care of the request.

Barry sent us this quick note:Got the gentleman that was stuck on 600-1 in Alabama last night. Easy pull. Did not get any pictures.  But he was riding in a full-size Toyota truck and was framed out .

Thank you, Barry, your help was very much appreciated.
