Tuesday, February 06, 2024, at 6:18 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Darlin Flores, submitted the following information: “We are stuck in the mud. On Randsburg Mojave RD, the other cross street is U street. We are in a Jeep Cherokee dark grey in a 4×2. It’s raining and very cold. / I’m with the vehicle.“
We contacted Darlin, verified the location, requested a few photos, and got a bit more information about the situation. We submitted the request to local volunteers. Within a minute, we got Ryan Herrold, who was 90 minutes away; a few minutes later, we also got Andre Loayza.
By 8:10 a.m., both volunteers were on the scene. They got the vehicle recovered, and later, Andre sent us a quick photo.
