Monday, April 29th, 2024, at 7:45 p.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Florida. The requester, Christian, submitted the following information: “Jeep JL 2018 4-door white stuck in mud / I’m not with the vehicle.”
David Mrak organized the request and verified the contact information, location, and situation before sending the request to local volunteers within a 35-mile radius.
By 9:11 p.m., we had Tyson Raw, a local volunteer, who was an hour away, taking over the request. By 10:28 p.m., Tyson was with the requester, and en route, and by 11:30 p.m., he got the vehicle free.
Later Tyson sent a quick note: “Very straightforward recovery, stock JL on street tires somewhere he shouldn’t have been. Simple straight line winch pull, then an escort thru the soup with a kinetic rope.”
