Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at 1:52 p.m., we got a call for an Offroad Recovery in California. Joshua Miller, had a truck stuck in the mud. It was a water tank, empty but still pretty heavy.
We verified the contact information and location and got some photos from Joshua. A few minutes later we submitted the request to local volunteers.
From the volunteers contacted, one took over the recovery; Andy Johnson. By 4:00 p.m. he was on site and by 6:00 p.m. he got the truck out with the help from a friend.
Andy’s note: “I was in orange Jeep 9500lb winch double lined. The xj was a friend of mine. Running single 9500lb. Got him pulled back roughly 20 ft and mine winch line broke at the drum. Another friend showed up in the white JL and took my spot with a 12000lb. Single line Roughly a 110ft pull to dry solid ground“
