Sunday, November 5th, 2023, at 9:57 p.m. (CT), a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas was received in our system. The requester, Julio Navejas, submitted the following information: “Stuck in a bog with a 1984 Dodge Ram 4×4 w150 / I’m with the vehicle“.
We reached out to Julio after 5 minutes of receiving the request. We confirmed the location and started looking for local volunteers. We also shared with a local group: Houston Area Off-Road Recovery.
It took us an hour, but we were able to find a volunteer. Patrick Valle, from the Houston Area group, jumped in and took care of the request. He contacted us, and we helped him connect with Julio. By 1 a.m., Patrick let us know the recovery was done, and we closed the ticket in our lobby.
