Thursday, May 29th, 2026, at 0:30 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Erricka Cook, submitted the following information: “I’m stuck in the mud please help I am not sure if I even have money on my card or not I have to get back to my house quickly / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 40-mile radius.
This request arrived at midnight, we released the request immediately when it arrived and planned to have volunteers engaging in the morning with daylight. From the group of contacted volunteers we had Michael Schenifger marking himself as engaging in the morning and taking over the recovery by 8:00 a.m.
By 9:20 a.m. Michael updated us in our lobby, the vehicle was recovered and the ticket closed.
